Through collaborative research and a literature review on how medicinal products affect women, my group found that ibuprofen is a key ingredient linked to harmful side effects during pregnancy. Further investigation revealed that Advil, a common over-the-counter medication, contains ibuprofen, making it potentially unsafe for pregnant women. We chose to redesign the Advil packaging because we noticed that the warning for pregnant women was not prominently featured, which could potentially lead to serious future issues.
